Georgia’s journey began with a degree in Psychology from the university of Exeter where she fell in love with the subject. After learning how crucial childhood and the early years are in shaping us, she grew a passion for developmental psychology. Georgia went on to complete a Masters at University College London in Infancy and early childhood development, with distinction.

The learnings from her MSc sparked a desire to help improve the parent- child relationship after seeing how crucial it can be in our life satisfaction. This led Georgia to begin working with children and parents providing emotion regulation interventions in the family home. Providing tools to help educate and encourage families to correct destructive cycles and improve communication and wellbeing. Alongside this she completed a certificate followed by an Advanced diploma in Integrative counselling.

Using different tools from varying modalities, such as CBT, person-centered, gestalt and psychodynamic, she works with adults and young people through Headstrong, offering talk therapy to people online via platforms such as zoom.

Georgia believes in the power of talking and the importance of being authentic, empathetic and kind.
